Artifacts

My two artifacts from ENC 2135 are two Reflective Journals. To give some context, a Reflective Journal is usually a prompted journal that requires the student to share their opinion on a class reading or their writing process.

Artifact 1: Reflective Journal #2

This was one of my first journals that was written in response to Anne Lamott's article, "Shitty First Drafts." This journal discusses my struggle with writer's block, and the methods I use to try to overcome it. I choose this artifact because it shows how opposed I am to planing out my essays at first; however, as the semester goes on I start to adapt to this strategy.

Artifact #2: Reflective Journal #4

This journal discuses how my writing process changed from Project 1 to Project 2. It also shows how I was able to deal with my writer's block during these projects. My writer's block became easier to deal with throughout the semester. I choose this artifact because it shows how I have grown to understand why writer's block occurs and how to avoid it.
